About Simpson Physiotherapy

We are an experienced neuro-physiotherapy team who specialises in the rehabilitation of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord and nerves. W treat:

- Stroke and brain injury

- Parkinson's Disease (PD)

- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

- Guillan-Barre

- Peripheral neuropathy

In addition, we specialise in the treatment of conditions affecting older adults, from falls and problems with walking to post-operative rehab (e.g. following hip and knee replacement surgery).

Specialist physiotherapy rehabilitation following stroke, brain injury, brain haemorrhage, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's Disease (PD), CIDP, Guillan-Barre Syndrome, CIDP and many other neurological conditions.
 

Physiotherapist Consultation (30 mins)

Expert treatment for all musculoskeletal conditions, for example back and neck pain, joint pain, muscle and ligament sprains, sports injuries, work related injuries, tennis and golfer's elbow, among many others.
 

Sports Injury Rehabilitation (30 mins)

Expert treatment for all musculoskeletal conditions and sport related injuries. For example back and neck pain, joint pain, muscle and ligament sprains, sports injuries, work related injuries, tennis and golfer's elbow, among many others.
 

Stroke Rehabilitation (1 hour)

Biography:

J Fraser Simpson MSc MCSP, HCPC registered.

 

I graduated with a Masters Level Degree in Physiotherapy in 2007 from Queen Margaret's University College, Edinburgh.  Prior to this, I achieved a Honours Degree in Physiological Sciences from the University of Dundee on 2004.  Since I qualified, I have worked as a physiotherapist within NHS Lanarkshire, working both within hospital wards and in the community.  

I am a neurophysiotherapist and have special interests in working with adults with acquired brain injuries as well as those who are having difficulty with mobility and falls. Both are areas that I find especially rewarding as physiotherapy can achieve excellent results, returning independence and confidence to my clients.
