What is Reiki? Reiki is the name given to a system of natural healing commonly called ‘palm healing’. This ‘Universal Life Force Energy’ is channelled through the practitioner to the recipient and is an effective complimentary healing method. There is no belief system or religion attached to Reiki so anyone can receive a Reiki treatment. You will be asked to lie down (or sit if this is easier) and you will remain fully clothed.   Your practitioner will also give you some aftercare advice following your treatment. It is important you follow this advice to enable you to get the most from your treatment. You may also need further treatments of Reiki at another time, so try not to see treatment as a ‘quick fix’. Please note:      Reiki cannot and will not be used to diagnose. Reiki Practitioners are not trained in diagnosis or prognosis, only doctors may legally do this. If you are concerned about any symptoms you should always seek the advice of your doctor.

1st Step Therapy provides a high standard of musculoskeletal physiotherapy within its Swansea Clinic. All assessments and treatments are carried out in our spacious and well equipped therapy room in a discrete and holistic style.

Sports Injuries and painful musculoskeletal and neurological conditions are treated by a team of chartered physiotherapists at these two clinics located at Cardiff and Swansea in Wales. The aim of the team is to restore the normal function of patients in the shortest possible time and prevent the condition or injury from recurring. Conditions treated include backache, muscle and joint pain, sprains, sports injuries, arthritis related aches and pains, repetitive strain and muscular injuries. Services provided include manual physiotherapy, massage and sports massage, acupuncture, electrotherapy including ultra sound and TENS and gait analysis.
