This will follow a thorough assessment (including assessment of biomechanics) and may include, deep tissue massage, joint mobilisations, Ultrasound/ Laser therapy, home exercises, strapping/ taping, propocetive rehabilitation.

Any pain that has been present for longer than 6 weeks is considered to be chronic pain. This can include consistant pain or episodic symptons. We can use TENS, acupuncture and a variety of other Phsyiotherapy techniques to assist.

The use of Ultrasound, Laser, short wave diathermy to promote tissue healing.

Treatment follows a detailed assessment and always tries to get to the underlying cause to the symptoms, this is importance to prevent reoccurance and the problem/ pain and provide a long- term solution. Treatment may include acupuncture, soft tissue release techniques (including massage), joint mobilisations and manipulations, electrotherapy (eg ultrasound to promote healing), exercises to strengthen or stretch affected areas.
