About The Physio Stop

The Physio Stop is a private Physiotherapy clinic run by Chartered Physiotherapists Chris and Sandra Jerrett

They are both members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with The Health and Care Professions Council.

This private clinic treats musculoskeletal conditions, t

his includes neck and back pain, shoulder problems, or any other areas of the body, whether caused by trauma, altered posture, arthritis or repetitive strain.

Chris has a special interest in sports injuries and also practices acupuncture for pain relief.

Sandra has a special interest in women's health, including back pain in pregnancy and continence.

We also treat post-operative conditions such as knee and hip replacements, shoulder surgery and knee surgery such as ACL repairs - the aim of treatment being to get you back to work and activities as soon as possible and minimise the risk of long term problems. We take great care in tailoring your rehabilitation programme to you whilst following any consultant protocols.

All musculoskeletal problems are thoroughly assessed in order to provide the most effective treatment. Many of our treatments are 'hands on' - by this we mean mobilisation and manipulation, but these treatments are always supplemented by advice, exercise and home programmes

SHOCKWAVE therapy.- We are pleased to be able to offer shockwave therapy which is a non invasive treatment for chronic conditions that have not responded to other interventions. Conditions such as tennis elbow, achilles tendinopathy, heel spurs, shoulder tendinitis have all been reported to have good results.

Treatment Received: Physiotherapist Consultation
First consultation and treatment. Manipulation and realignment in back, had chronic pain in my right hip and leg unable to sleep on it,my mobility was suffering. Was miserable.

Wonderful,I felt reassured, fully informed gently guided and treated with kindness and professionalism. Thank-you Sandra I feel a different person. Early days I know but I have no pain now, just tender.I am walking much better. I will do the excersises and heat pads. May not need second appointment. Wish I had gone here weeks ago. Thank-you. Onwards I go. I cannot recommend this Physio Stop Clinic any higher to you.
