Mrs Rebecca Corran
Becky Corran graduated from Sheffield University with her degree in physiotherapy in 2003 and has specialised in pelvic floor, continence and women’s health physiotherapy since 2005.
She worked at Arrowe Park Hospital until 2009, when she joined Wirral Community NHS Trust to lead the pelvic & women’s health physiotherapy service.
Since 2005 she has worked very hard to excel within this area. In 2008, she graduated from Bradford University with a Postgraduate Certificate (Masters level) in women's health physiotherapy. She regularly attends courses, most recently in the management of "SPD", antenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, advanced bladder & bowel physiotherapy and advanced pelvic floor manual therapy techniques. She is also trained in the use of acupuncture within pelvic & women’s health, including during pregnancy.
Becky lectures at a Postgraduate level for Chester University, and peer reviews articles for the POGP (Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) group.
Outside of work she is a mother to three young children, and enjoys an active and outdoor family life.
Becky is registered with the Health Professionals Council (HPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the association of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP)
