If necessary I will attend again

4.5 50 Physiotherapist Consultation

Helen Preston at Preston Health Thorpe Wood Peterborough was very highly recommended to by family via a qualified doctor. I attended on Thursday 6 April 2023. The session was booked by my family as they had used this service in the past. I attended as I had suffered with chronic back pain since June of last year. Helen listened to all my concerns. Gave me sound advice and showed me how to start with some simple exercises to strengthen my weak back and legs. If necessary I will attend again. My impression of Helen was a very professional and knowledgeable physiotherapist.

Will lose loyal customers.

physiotherapy

Been to the clinic several times over 9 years and a relative too. The physiotherapy is excellent and the staff very skilled. However, the venue can be tricky with stairs to some rooms and time wasted waiting for equipment to be found and brought to your room, which I paid for at every session! A strict adherence to their 30 minute appointment slot with me out on the strike of the half hour meant on one occasion when the previous client overran by 10 minutes I paid cash for 30 minutes and received only 20 minutes of which five went on chitter chatter and five looking for an ultrasound machine. My ten minute session was worthwhile but I received no response to my comments about these issues. The price is not competitive at all and my last appointment worked out at pro-rata on £210 per hour. Perhaps insurance funded clients do better? The company needs a feedback service to comments and will lose loyal customers if they do not reply as happened to me. I left wondering who the celebrity ahead of me was who got the 10 minutes extra at my expense! I recommend the business for insurance paid clients, but not cash paying.

Dear Mrs Small, Thank you for taking the time to review the clinic on what clinic.com. Firstly, I am glad that you comment that the physiotherapy itself was excellent and the staff very skilled. However, of course I am very sorry that you feel that you did not get your valued allotted time and you were so disappointed by this. This has been fed back to the staff member involved and used as a learning point for future cases. I will call you tomorrow to discuss your concerns in more details. Best Wishes, Helen
