Mr Craig Hardingham - Practice Therapist at Injury Active Clinic

Mr Craig Hardingham

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist
Specialisations:
  Physical Therapy
Languages:
  English
Biography:

Graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008, Craig has a passion for CrossFit and football. He’s worked with Watford FC; university football teams and his pivotal role as Assistant Sports Therapist and Touchline Therapist with Histon FC (2007-2009) helped them reach the play-off semi-finals of the Blue Square Premier League.

With his reputation attracting a number of elite athletes to his clinic, Craig worked intensively with World Junior Power-lifting Champion James Copping, leading up to his 2009 title and combined services and also with British international Judo competitor, Lee Carder.

Craig has always had an interest in strength and conditioning and it was while living in Sydney, Australia in 2012 that he delved into the competitive sport of CrossFit. During training, it was highlighted that there is a clear link between strength and conditioning, CrossFit and sports injuries. This key discovery led to the opening of Injury Active’s first sports injury clinic!

Having a particular interest in kinetic control and pain that’s caused by uncontrolled movement and restriction, Craig is not only identifying injury but also understanding why a particular injury has occurred as a result of dysfunction, weakness or incorrect biomechanics.

As a member of the Society of Sports Therapy, Craig is continuing his professional development and will shortly be studying towards the UKSCA accreditation.
