BSc (Hons) MCSP SRP

Patricia spent almost 3 years working at the Jonathan Webb Clinic Bristol, where she gained excellent exposure to orthopaedic and sports injury patients, from elite athletes to the older clients, as well as young, developing athletes.

She is currently the club physio at Old Colstonians RFC providing match day physiotherapy and medical support.

Mr Gerry Gallacher

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist
Specialisations:
  Osteopathy, General Dentistry
Biography:

BDS BSc (Hons)

I have worked at this Clinic since 2001, prior to that I worked in Devon, Cornwall and in New Zealand.

After qualifying as a dentist in 1986, I spent time working in Oral and Maxillofacilial Surgery, so the first sports injuries I treated were fairly messy ones such as broken jaws and cheekbones and facial lacerations!

I have always been keen on most sports, particularly football and athletics, and I competed in middle distance track and cross-country races in the 1980s. When I began competing in triathlon in the 1990s, I was really impressed with the treatment I received from osteopaths for various injuries.

This lead me into studying full-time for a degree in osteopathy, and I qualified with a Bsc(Hons) from the British School of Osteopathy in 1998. As well as working at the clinic four days a week, I now give lectures to dentists all around the UK on the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries.

Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)

Member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association (OSCA)

Registered with all major health insurance companies such as BUPA and PPP
