Located in Booterstown, the Maple Physical Therapy Clinic offers hands-on treatment for all sports, work, postural and accident related problems by qualified and registered Physical Therapists. We offer two types of treatment; Physical Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage. Physical Therapy is suitable for treating injuries. It’s a combination of assessment, hands-on treatment (soft tissue work, mobilisations), Laser Therapy, Kinesio taping and rehabilitation exercises. Massage is suitable for stiffness or niggles, tight neck or shoulders, or recovery from sports training. If you are not sure which you need just ask us and we will let you know.

A full comprehensive assessment,treatment and rehabilitation program is provided and sessions usually last for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.Peter has been in practice at the clinic since 1995 and has vast experience in assessing and  treating all types of soft tissue and structural problems that can affect the human body. Apart from his physiotherapy practice, he has worked with GAA and Rugby clubs.His main approach to assessing and treating problems is with Manual Therapy.A hands on approach which involves specific manual techniques for straight forward and more complex problems that may occur.State of the art equipment and facilities are incorporated at the clinic to treat every condition.Conditions treated at the clinic include orthopaedic conditions, soft tissue injuries, overuse injuries, neurological injuries like nerve damage and strokes, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis,sports injuries and orthotic prescriptions/insoles. Amanda Hughes is an acupuncturist and chinese herbalist specialinsing in fertility acupuncture and skin conditions. Fertility & Pregnancy: She has over 20 years experience in treating conditions associated with gynaecology ,fertility and pregnancy and has  assisted many couples with fertility issues  . She is a member of the Fertility Network. Psoriasis, eczema, rosacea , acne and seborrheic dermatitis are among the skin  conditions that she regularly treats with individually formulated chinese herbal medicine prescriptions and skin creams that she makes herself .
