Welcome to AcuPhysio Musculoskeletal and Neurological Physiotherapy clinic. Physiotherapy is available for rehabilitation after surgery, and for problems including neck, back ,muscle and joint pain using a broad range of physiotherapy techniques. McKenzie method mechanical diagnosis and therapy is used for common back and neck injuries. Sof tissue injuries are treated with Shockwave therapy and dry needling. All patients receive exercise programme to practice at home. We believe in empowering patients by educating them in body mechanics. Neurological rehabilitation is available for stroke, acquired brain injuries as well as Parkinson's disease and MS patients. Bobath concept and functional neurorehabilitation techniques are used as main tool for stroke recovery. Ourfriendly and professional staff have a wealth of experience and offercomprehensive physical assessment, accurate diagnosis and a range ofevidence based treatments.

Physiotherapy treatments are provided by Gillian Walker, a chartered physiotherapist and her team at this clinic. The clinic is located in Cornelscourt Dublin, Ireland. Treatments performed at the clinic include Sports injury rehabilitation, lower limb and gait assessment, orthotic prescriptions, shoe selection, acupuncture, joint mobilization, fascial release techniques, stretching programs, electrotherapy and exercise prescriptions. The fees are covered by all major health insurers. The clinic is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and can be contacted through telephone for an appointment.

Chartered Physiotherapist with 25 years experience. Completed 2 Masters Degrees in Manual Therapy and Musculoskeletal Health. From early in my career I began practicing and teaching yoga and pilates and began to develop a holistic approach. This led me to studying craniosacral therapy and later visceral manipulation and somatic movement education. Most recently I've been delving deeply into study of trauma and the Nervous System as it is so involved in any chronic health problems.  As a result I have a very holistic approach that is suited both to acute injuries and chronic longstanding problems. My main interests are women's health (pelvic health/pre and post natal) and pain.  Holistic bodywork sessions will usually address body parts away from the site of pain because of the interconnectness of the fascial system.  I also teach  yoga and workshops/courses on pelvic health and the nervous system.
