"I felt much looser and pain-free afterward"
5 50Reviewed 11 Mar 2018 Review verified by phone and email.
Treatment Received: Physiotherapist Consultation
I had a massage from a physiotherapist in the practice as I had tightness and pain in my upper back.

I normally would want heavier pressure when getting a massage but the pressure was great and it was a very deep massage. I felt much looser and pain-free afterward.

I have had back issues for many years including surgery. Physio was recommended as part of my rehabilitation. I have attended many physios over the years and on the recommendation of my brother, I attended Amanda Olsen in Dundrum. For the first time in a long time, I feel relief! At long last, due to her professionalism and huge knowledge, I feel like I have the confidence to get back to a normal life once again. I would highly recommend anyone to see Amanda at Archview physiotherapy. She has a special gift which makes her a great physiotherapist.

The lady that attended me at the Archview Physiotherapy Pain and Sports Injury Clinic for my Dry Needling appointment was incredible. I was fitted on for the appointment without having to wait for several days and the procedure was done promptly and with excellent service.

The clinic was very helpful when it came to giving me treatment at an affordable price and with excellent service so I have no problem giving them the best rate.

"Entire experience was nothing short of exceptional"

Treatment Received: Physiotherapist Consultation
Arrived in Dublin from the US with a very stiff neck. By mid morning I could not move my neck, shooting pain in my muscles and lower back, looked on line for a massage and called Archview. Lynsey suggested physiotherapy and two hours later I was at the clinic. The treatment was new to me, pins similar to those used for acupuncture were used on my neck muscles to relieve the spasms. After 45 minutes of this treatment the excruciating pain was gone and I could move my head again without holding it between my hands, my jaw worked, headache gone. My wife is signed up now to see if the same results can be achieved on her back.

Were you pleased with the treatment? I was really pleased with everything. The staff are friendly and the physiotherapist that i had was extremenly good. Her name was Lynsey. She diagnosed my problem on the first session and got straight into treatment. I didnt feel rushed.I was in for about 55 minutes and it only cost 55 Euros. Other physio clinics that i have been to have charged me that 20 minutes! pretty good deal.I thought i would have needed load s of physio as i have had pain in my back for 2 months but i was pain free after three sessions.very please :)
Would you recommend the clinic? i would definilty reccommend the clinic. In fact i already have to two work colleagues and they found it great too.
Would you return for further treatment? Yes, definitly but i hope i wont have to!

Alexandra was born and raised State side in Sarasota, Florida. She first became interested in Massage Therapy at the very young age of eleven when she learned that she had scoliosis (a congenital curvature of the spine). After diagnosis she was advised to be fitted for a back brace in
order to prevent the curve from progressing. Once fitted she had to wear the brace twenty-three hours a day for two years. It caused her severe pain and consequently her Mother sought out a family friend who was a massage therapist to ease the pain and fatigue. It was such a beneficial
therapy that the experience made a lasting impression on her.

Alexandra took her first course of study in 1998 at The Sarasota School of Natural Healing Arts. After she completed that programme she sat for licensure in the State of Florida and passed her Boards. She then went onto further her education in the State of New York where she took a two year degree programme at the New York College for Health Professionals. Alex graduated in 2001 with an Associates Degree in Occupational Sciences concentrating in Therapeutic Massage. She sat for licensure again for the
State of New York and passed her Boards there in the start of 2002. She has been continuing her education and practising Massage for the last 18 years.

Her training includes but is not limited to Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, AMMA/ Acupressure Therapy, Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapy and Hot Stone Massage. Over her years of practise, Alex has amalgamated a variety of the techniques she has learned to provide her clients with personalised and unique treatments. She has worked closely with many different practitioners throughout her career to combine therapies in order to benefit patients individual needs.
