inducing labour, pain, stress, low energy My waters broke two weeks before I was due, I had no contractions and didn't want the chemical induction. After two acupuncture treatments in one day, I started to have regular contractions and finally gave birth that night with a 25 minute labour. After giving birth, I've often got exhausted and a lot of health problems started to show up. Two treatments cured acute pain in my leg, and some regular treatments have improved my energy greatly. Highly recommended.

Rating from 5 Reviews He stuck with me for the whole process!Ian, Ireland, 08 Mar 16

I went to Roy before I had knee surgery. He did a great job of diagnosing the problem, referring me to the proper physician, and then helping me rehab afterward. He stuck with me for the whole process! I chose Roy out of convenience, but I'm very glad I found him. Reasonably priced, dedicated and knowledgable, and spoke to a level I could understand. Finally, he always made time for me (on short notice often). I give him my highest recommendation!

Rating from 5 Reviews Very helpful advice and instructionProinsíos, Ireland, 11 Dec 17

I went with tension in my shoulders and neck to get advice on posture improvement techniques and a few questions about a shoulder injury from swimming. Very helpful advice and instruction. Neck and shoulder massage was also excellent. Would definitely return.

Dry Needling
Dry needling is a great way to quickly reduce tension in specific muscles. Fantastic for sports injuries but also for those tight sore shoulders that result from stress or desk work.

Kiltipper Road, Old Bawn, Dublin 24
Dry Needling
Physiotherapist Consultation RM190 - RM332
Hydrotherapy RM285 - RM332
Hydrotherapy entails whole body exercises that take place in our state of the art 34°C warm water pool. The warm temperature of the water allows your muscles to relax and eases the pain and stiffness, making it easier to exercise. Hydrotherapy can relieve painful joints, increase the range of movement in your joints and improve your muscle strength. At Kiltipper Woods our hydrotherapy pool contains an underwater treadmill, resistance jets, and massage wand. The power resistance jets provide resistance for a range of motion exercises, improving the patient’s cardiovascular stamina. The wand offers patients the ability to massage and loosen muscles. The pool is easily accessible to suit all patients and can be accessed by patients in wheelchairs. It is also important to note that you do not have to be able to swim to benefit from aquatic therapy. All our hydrotherapy sessions are conducted by chartered physiotherapists who are highly trained and experienced in hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy sessions can take place in a group setting or on a one to one basis. At Kiltipper Woods we use a Swimex 1000-T hydrotherapy pool that is fully equipped with laminar water current technology which your therapist uses to optimise the intensity of your workout. The pool also utilises an integrated underwater treadmill in tandem with the water current technology and is the only pool of its kind in Ireland.Hydrotherapy is the safest and most progressive form of rehabilitation because it takes place in a gravity neutral environment, thus decreasing impact and trauma on weight bearing joints during rehabilitation. The simulated weightlessness allows treatment to begin earlier and more safely, thereby accelerating the healing process. Our hydrotherapy programmes are conducted by chartered physiotherapists, who are highly trained in hydrotherapy. All programmes are specifically tailored to the needs of each individua

Back Pain
Dry Needling involves multiple advances of a filament needle into the muscle in the region of a “Trigger Point’. The aim of Dry Needling is to achieve a local twitch response to release muscle tension and pain. Dry needling is an effective treatment for chronic pain of neuropathic origin with very few side effects. This technique is unequaled in finding and eliminating neuromuscular dysfunction that leads to pain and functional deficits. The needle used is very thin and most subjects do not even feel it penetrate the skin. A healthy muscle feels very little discomfort with insertion of this needle. However if the muscle is sensitive and shortened or has active trigger points within it, the subject will feel a sensation like a muscle cramp -‘the twitch response’. The patient also may feel a reproduction of “their” pain which is a helpful diagnostic indicator for the practitioner attempting to diagnose the cause of the patients symptoms. Patients soon learn to recognize and even welcome this sensation as it results in deactivating the trigger point, reducing pain and restoring normal length function to the involved muscle.

Rating from 1 Review She was very hands-on releasing the pain instantlyAnnelie, Ireland, 13 Sep 17

I attended Archview Physiotherapy after pulling my back and neck. I was in a lot of pain and needed physio and was seen by Carol. She was very hands-on releasing the pain instantly with some dry needling and lots of massages. She gave me some exercises to do and I returned for another few sessions until all the pain was gone. I thought Archview Physio was extremely professional. I also booked in for a few full body massages and couldn't rate the therapists enough. I felt so relaxed afterward. I would totally recommend this clinic. Very high standard. Very positive experience - I will return and refer if needs be.
