Ms Sarah Brady

Ms Mary Madden

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Biography:

Mary qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from University College Dublin and worked initially at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. In 2004, she moved to London where she completed a Masters in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation in University College London and then held a senior role at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, one of the large teaching hospitals in London.

In 2008, she underwent a specialist training programme to become an Extended Scope Physiotherapist. This role involved the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions while working alongside an orthopaedic consultant.  During this period she further developed her specialist expertise in managing knee, hip and spinal conditions.  This has led to a keen interest in managing knee and hip replacements, and soft tissue knee injuries including ACL and cartilage injuries.

Since 2014, Mary has combined her clinical work with a Senior Lecturer post at the University of Hertfordshire, where she is involved in teaching on the Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy programme. She runs the clinical placement module at Hertfordshire. In 2016, Mary has joined our team here at Collins Avenue Physiotherapy.  She has a strong interest in sport and has worked with the London Senior hurling and football teams and a number of GAA clubs in London.
