The A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH  is a private Physiotherapy centre in Strovolos, Nicosia & in Agia Phyla, Limassol providing specialist treatment for Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic disorders, Sports injuries, Back and Neck pain,post-operative  Rehabilitation and Occupational Health & Ergonomics.

Our team of therapists includes one Staff grade and three Seniorphysiotherapists and a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist/Consultant. OurTherapists have undergone extensive postgraduate training, have the highest ethical standards and many years of treatment experience. Our Physiotherapists are accepted by all insurance companies, and are Chartered and registered with both the Cyprus Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council

Pain, stiffness and discomfort may be some of the symptoms you are experiencing when you visit us and your therapist will ask you a series of questions related to your problems, work and activities to help diagnose your current problem. A detailed physical examination will follow. Your therapist will explain the diagnosis and discuss with you your personal treatment plan. Treatment will start immediately and your first visit will take approximately one hour and any subsequent treatment will also take one hour or 40 mins depending on the comlpexity of the problem and the agreed aims between client & therapist.

We take a progressive and holistic approach to the treatment of pain by assessing your issues, looking beyond your problem and developing a plan of action. Not only do we love to treat short term problems, we specialise in complex and chronic pain too.

Whether it's a recent sporting injury, or a long-term issue that you've had for years, we will listen and work with you to find a solution. Many of our treatments have been scientifically validated in helping a range of issues - from spinal pain and injury, to enhancing Sports Performance. Our Therapists have a real passion for helping your recovery and are experts in back pain, often thought to be the domain of Chiropractors.

Antonis Zacharopoulos  MSc. MCSP acquired his Bachelor Degree inPhysiotherapy (1997) at the Athens Technological and Education Institute andhis Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy (2002) at the University College of London.His Master’s Thesis focused on the effects of Myofascial Manipulation Techniques on the surface Electromyography(SEMG) signal of the Lumbar Paraspinal muscles in non-specific chronic Low BackPain sufferers. His research interest focuses on myofascial pain and itsrelation to movement impairments and compromised functional capacity.  He has extensive clinical experience in the fieldof Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy comprised of five years of practicingphysiotherapy in the United Kingdom in many NHS teaching Hospitals andspecialized in the field of musculoskeletal disorders as well being a privatephysiotherapy practitioner at a Clinical Specialist level. He has attendednumerous seminars and conferences in relation to clinical practice and methodsin musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
