  Italian, Spanish
Biography:
Scott Wescombe – North Perth Physiotherapist & Leederville Physiotherapist

Managing Director; Physiotherapist; Exercise & Sports Scientist; Clinical Pilates Practitioner; Personal Trainer.

Scott completed his physiotherapy degree at Curtin University (School of Physiotherapy) with First-Class Honours. With an extensive history of treating and rehabilitating sports injuries, Scott continues to enjoy working in Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Working in the Health & Fitness industry for over ten years, Scott has helped many people in Perth maximize their lifestyle and achieve their goals. Always continuing to keep up to date with latest, Scott was a delegate at the 2011 World Physical Therapy conference in Amsterdam, and the 2011 Australian Physiotherapy Association conference in Brisbane.

Having played sport at an elite level Scott understands the impact of injuries on performance and day-to-day living. Scott made his decision to become a physiotherapist at an early age following a severe injury as a teenager. With the help of his local physiotherapy team he was able to enjoy the benefits of a fast recovery to perform at the AFL National Under 18 Championships.

Scott is a member of the following professional associations: Sports Physiotherapy Australia (APA), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia (APA), Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Medicine Australia, and Fitness Australia.

Cameron Heise

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Languages:
  Italian
Biography:
Cameron Heise – Leederville Physiotherapist

Physiotherapist; Exercise & Sports Scientist; Personal Trainer.

Cameron completed his physiotherapy degree at Curtin University (School of Physiotherapy) and has continually developed a dedicated interest into Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy.

Cameron is from an elite level sporting background having represented Western Australia in Australian Rules football from the age of 15 upwards to the age of 21, and played League level football in the WAFL for Subiaco and Perth. He has competed at an elite level in Surf Life Saving beach sprinting, in swimming and Ironman events.

From his personal experience of suffering both minor and severe career threatening injuries during his sporting career he can reflect on the challenges he personally faced, and provide hands on guidance in injury rehabilitation to the aspiring sports person.

Cameron was a scholarship holder at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra and represented Australia in International Rules Football. The Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship gave Cameron a personal insight into understanding the liaison and dealings between the Physiotherapists and the elite adolescent sports person.  It also gave him a greater insight into the importance of recovery after both sports and work injuries. This involvement has fuelled his subsequent interest in Exercise Rehabilitation, and, Strength and Conditioning.

Having also completed a degree of Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) with a major in Human Performance at Edith Cowan University, Cameron has developed vast knowledge in nutrition and thus has assisted people wanting to lose weight or improve lean body mass via diet manipulation.

Cameron has a strong interest in treating and helping people with back, neck and shoulder pain.  He makes it possible for people of all ages to go about their day to day living.

Cameron is a member of the following professional associations: Sports Physiotherapy Australia, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, and Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Mr Robert O'Mahony

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Languages:
  Italian
Biography:
Robert O’Mahony – Leederville PhysiotherapistPhysiotherapist; Exercise & Sports Scientist; Personal Trainer.

Robert graduated from Curtin University (School of Physiotherapy) and completed his studies with First Class Honours. Robert is focussed on Sports Physiotherapy after recently completing his physiotherapy research at the West Coast Eagles. His study was focussed on soft tissue lower limb injuries in AFL players. On top of having a great understanding of sports injuries, Robert also enjoys helping people who have back and neck pain, headaches, and chronic pain. With experience of working as a physiotherapist in Italy, Robert has successfully treated some of the top soccer players in the world.

Having played a number of different sports, Robert appreciates the time and effort that is required to perform well every week. Following completion of a Bachelor of Science (Human Movement) at the University of Western Australia and with great help from physiotherapists throughout his sporting career, Robert decided physiotherapy was the best way he could help elite athletes recover from injuries, and also prevent injuries. Robert has been an integral team member at Loftus Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, and as a result has a high word of mouth referral base.

Robert is a member of the following professional associations: Sports Physiotherapy Australia, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, Australian Physiotherapy Association, and Sports Medicine Australia.
