Miss Liz Wicks

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Biography:
Liz qualified at Curtin University Perth in 1992. After working in Perth in several private practices, Kimberley Physiotherapy became her next venture in the year 2000. Since Liz has been in Broome Kimberley Physiotherapy has grown to include a Pilates studio that has been operating for the last 4 years. Liz has a broad experience in a wide range of injuries and rehabilitation that has provided good results in recovery time and education to avoid return of injury, by investigating the mechanical causes of injury. Several years competing in State athletics has provided Liz with a solid foundation and balance in strength, fitness and flexibility, which influences professional practice and treatment modalities. Liz has completed further training in dry needling techniques and also recently completed a specialised Kinesio taping course. Liz is also a fully qualified DMA Clinical Pilates instructor.

Mr Simon Dean

Biography:
Simon graduated from Curtin University in 2005 and after working in a busy private practice in Bunbury for a few years made his way up to Broome in 2008. Simon firmly believes in physical activity as a way of life and this translates into his everyday lifestyle and professional practice. Simon has previously been involved in a multitude of sports but now enjoys treating sports injuries rather than suffering them- most of the time! Simon places a strong emphasis on manual therapy in his treatments and also has post graduate training in dry needling, and specialised techniques for the neck, back and shoulder.
