Ms Jennifer Callaghan

Biography:
BPhty MPhty (Musc) MPhty (Sports) trans trans Jen Callaghan Jennifer is an APA Titled physiotherapist with masters qualifications in both sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Jennifer has worked in the public sector and private physiotherapy practices in Australia and New York. Jennifer's sports experience includes the assessment and management of elite athletes in sporting programs with Surfing Australia and Tennis Australia. In addition, Jennifer is experienced in the treatment of performing artists including musicians (Queensland Symphony Orchestra) and cast members of Broadway Musicals (The Little Mermaid, New York City). Jennifer's musculoskeletal experience includes implementing and managing physio-led screening clinics for patients with spinal pain who are considering orthopaedic surgery or neurosurgery. Jennifer has also tutored masters physiotherapy students at La Trobe University and the University of Queensland.

Ms Helen Fleming

Biography:
BPhty, MPhtyS, FACP trans trans helen Helen is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience in hospitals and private practice. She is a recognised expert in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Helen worked as a lecturer and clinical tutor for the masters program at the University of Queensland for five years, lectured and tutored at Trinity College and University College in Dublin, Ireland, and is now an invited lecturer at the University of Melbourne. Helen has presented nationally and internationally on the musculoskeletal assessment and management of the spine, hip and shoulder. She is an experienced examiner for the Australian College of Physiotherapists. Her special interests include spinal pain, shoulder dysfunction and muscle re-education.

Mr Ken Niere

Biography:
BAppSC (physio), MManipPhysio, FACP trans trans helen Ken is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 25 years' clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of spinal disorders. He is a senior lecturer in the School of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, where he has taught spinal musculoskeletal physiotherapy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels since 1989. Ken is an examiner for the Australian College of Physiotherapists and he recently contributed to and co-edited a book on headache, orofacial pain and bruxism. His special interests include the diagnosis and management of headaches and neck disorders, and he has lectured on these topics in Australia and overseas.
