Dr Sue Gertzel

Has been a physio for more than 30 years. She has a Masters in Manipulative Therapy and a Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy.

She is an APPI Pilates qualified physiotherapist.

She is actively involved in sport and general exercise. She understands that the more mature person needs to keep exercising within the limits of their physical ability.

She has many years experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is committed to providing a holistic approach to your care.

She works with the individual within the clinic and runs the exercise classes to help increase your activity levels.

Has a special interest in the treatment of jaw pain (temporomandibular disorders or TMD). The range of problems dealt with includes headaches, neck stiffness and pain, restricted mouth opening, facial pain and difficulty chewing. Delete delete add

Dr Rachel Temper

Is our newest physio. She is originally from Montreal where she completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Concordia University.

She moved to Australia to undertake her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University which she finished in 2013.

Recently moved to Melbourne and brings with her a passion for treating sports and other musculoskeletal injuries.

Her first hand involvement in sport combined with her qualifications in exercise science and physiotherapy have enabled her to acquire a greater understanding of the management of a variety of injuries.

She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise and dry needling to help promote the patient's swift recovery from injury. Delete delete add

Dr Monica Wong

Was dux of her final year of physiotherapy and has worked in both acute and rehabilitation hospitals throughout Australia.

She has also completed her Graduate Diploma of Manipulative Therapy and a Diploma in Acupuncture and undertakes regular ongoing education including pilates, kinesio taping and is a lymphoedema practitioner.

Has been the "resident locum" at City North Physio for the last 10 years. She has an active approach to treatment using hands-on therapy and exercises tailored to the individual’s condition to return them to their normal activities after injury.

Is very active playing tennis and squash, doing gym workouts, Israeli Dancing and running. She is multilingual, speaking Mandarin, several dialects of Chinese, Greek and some Italian. Delete delete add
