Dr Ben Cunningham

Biography:
He is a director of Action Rehab and has over 15 years' experience providing hand and upper limb therapy, including three years working in the United Kingdom at the Queen Victoria Hospital and eight years as the senior clinician at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Since graduation in 1996 Ben has been working in the specialist area of Hand Therapy and completed a postgraduate Masters of Clinical Science (Hand & Upper Limb) through Curtin University in 2006. Ben is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University where he has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy students. He is a full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) and the current divisional representative for Victoria on the management committee. He is the author of the Hand Trauma and Fundamentals of Hand Therapy workshops run through the AHTA and presents on these locally and interstate. Ben has taught both here in Australia and overseas on the specialist area of hand trauma. His special interests are in sports related hand trauma and he has led the way in the treatment of complex intra-articular fractures in the hand, thumb and digits, presenting at national and international conferences.

Biography:
He is a qualified with a degree in Physiotherapy in 1999 from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK. Since that time he has worked extensively in the field of hand therapy and upper limb Physiotherapy. His work has seen him practice in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Prior to starting with Action Rehab, Graeme was at the Princess Grace Hospital, a large private hospital in central London and Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists in Melbourne. His areas of special interest are shoulder problems and hand trauma. He also has an interest in work related upper limb disorders (WRULD) and focuses on prevention as much as treatment of the condition.

Dr Jeff Sanderson

Biography:
Since graduating in 2002 Jeff has worked in private practice clinics in Australia and the UK. He has travelled, worked and expanded his learning in England and Ireland and has undertaken further studies in hand therapy. He has a keen interest in sports injuries and as an extreme sporting enthusiast he understands the need for patients to return to their sport in a timely manner. His knowledge of upper limb anatomy makes him a specialist in the treatment of complex brachial plexus injuries and he has treated many young men who sustain this injury.
