Dr James Sherwood

Biography:
Graduated from Curtin University in Western Australia. He has extensive experience in private practice and hospital-based post-surgical physiotherapy.

He also has experience in sports and exercise rehabilitation, working as Head Physiotherapist for a Western Australian Premier Division soccer club.

James's particular clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of persistent spinal pain, occupational rehabilitation and the management of cervicogenic headache. James also provides TMJ treatment for jaw pain.

Dr Katie Punter

Biography:
Qualified as a physiotherapist from LaTrobe University in 2004 (having also already completed a Bachelor of Science).

She started her career working at ProActive Physiotherapy in Mt Waverley and acting as the team physiotherapist for Bentleigh Football Club.

She has worked at Parkmore Physiotherapy Centre since early 2009. Katie has been heavily involved with elite softball, both as a player representing Victoria and as a physiotherapist for Australian youth teams.

She also enjoys netball and snow boarding. Katie’s clinical interests include post-operative rehabilitation for orthopaedic surgery of the upper and lower limbs, neck/back pain and dry needling.

Dr Lachlan Kellaway

Biography:
Graduated as a physiotherapist from La Trobe University in 1994 and spent the first seven years of his career at Croydon Sports Medicine Centre.

He completed a post-graduate diploma in OH and S in 2001 and worked in a physiotherapy/injury prevention role at Holden’s headquarters at Fishermen’s Bend.

Since 2002 he has worked at Parkmore Physiotherapy Centre. Lachlan represented Collingwood AFL at under 19 and reserves level and then played with Sandringham VFL.

He continues his involvement with football through physiotherapy for local players and coaching the Under 10’s at his childrens’ club. He is a keen golfer. His clinical interests include the shoulder, wrist/hand/finger injuries (including making splints) and football injuries for both soccer and AFL.
