He has developed a reputation as Brisbane’s go to man for helping those with long term shoulder pain problems get rid of them once and for all.. He has an incredible passion for and knowledge of how the human body works in relationship with the shoulder. He is an expert on shoulder function and shoulder interventions that work. Luke takes an integrated approach to movement dysfunction by looking at the whole body first and identifying the true nature and cause of shoulder pain or a lack of performance. Luke’s proven skills, experience and expertise enables him to foster in his clients a real sense of reassurance, optimism, empowerment and a success mentality fast. He is a locally trained University of Queensland Graduate Masters physiotherapist who has studied the shoulder extensively incorporating both domestic and international experience and education. He also has degrees in Applied Science (Human Movement) and Business. His most recent exploits saw him attend in September 2013 – world renowned Dr Ben Kibler’s Scapula Conference in Manchester UK. In February 2012, Luke completed the updated Dr Jeremy Lewis Shoulder Course in Melbourne. September 2010 saw him travel overseas to the International Shoulder and Elbow Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland to sample the best the world has to offer in shoulder physiotherapy and enjoy a few rounds at the majestic Gleneagles Golf Resort. Back in June 2009 Luke spent a 2 week shoulder intensive with renowned UK Shoulder Surgeon Dr Lennard Funk and Specialist Shoulder Physiotherapist Kathleen Tatlow at the Manchester Shoulder Clinic and attend the Wrightington Hospital Upper Limb Unit’s 2009 Sports Shoulder Conference.He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the Queensland Shoulder Society and the Shoulder and Elbow Physiotherapy Association of Australasia. He has close working relationships with some of Brisbane’s leading upper limb Orthopaedic Surgeons and is regarded as an expert in the area of shoulder physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
