Mr David Macdonald

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Biography:
Graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992. His early career focus was on contact sports like Rugby Union and AFL before spending many years as Physiotherapist to the Brisbane Bullets and various hockey teams. More recently, time has been spent treating cyclists and triathletes.

As a Director of RHP Physiotherapy, one of David’s main roles is Staff Education and Training. This developed from a fascination with anatomy and out of a dedication to the practice of complementary and innovative manual techniques. This includes the use techniques for adult and paediatric conditions including: cranio-sacral therapy; visceral manipulation; brain tissue work; neuro-meningeal therapy; and somato (body)-emotional therapy skills in order to address the physical and emotional conditions of patients and to aid those with difficult and multi-layered medical case histories.

David utilises these skills as a teaching assistant in order to foster professional development of medical and therapy practitioners for the Barral Institute of France and the United States. Delete delete add

Mr Andrew Grigg - Physiotherapist at RHP Physiotherapy - Marist College Ashgrove

Mr Andrew Grigg

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Biography:
Graduated with a physiotherapy degree from the University of Queensland in 1991. He has worked primarily in private practice and has highly advanced skills in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders.

Andrew has worked with a variety of sporting teams and currently has a large involvement with golf. He is the physiotherapist for several professional golfers and golf schools in Brisbane. His aims when treating golfers extend far beyond injury management alone - he analyses the biomechanics of your golf swing from a musculoskeletal standpoint, with the aim being to identify any physical areas where some "fine-tuning" may help to improve the consistency and power of your swing. He believes that developing great golfing habits at as early an age as possible will aid both the enjoyment and performance of the game in later life, and thus has an interest in working with young golfers to help them achieve just this. He is an avid golfer himself and is one of Queenslands premier physiotherapists for golfers. Delete delete add
