Dr Petro Kuiper

Biography:
Was awarded her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Petroria, South Africa in 1991, and went on to complete postgraduate studies in Pharmacology for Physiotherapist and a Diploma in Orthopaedic manipulative techniques at the University of Witwatersand, South Africa.

She workd in a private practice in South Africa mainly treating sporting injuries and working with the Cats rugby union team, as well as the Bafana Bafana, South African soccer team.

Also has extensive experience in corporate physiotherapy. She gained expertise in pre-employment functional assessments, workstation assessment and set up, manual handling requirements and teaching to workers as well as industry experience including control room assessment and redesign.

Petro has developed a keen interest in orthotic prescription and the benefits of custom-made orthotics to prevent injuries. Petro has successfully completed a range of further studies to enhance her knowledge and skills. As a triathlete, she has developed a knack for treating triathletes - and especially Type A personalities. Delete delete add

Dr Adam Ouellette

Biography:
Completed his Masters of Physiotherapy Studies at University of Queensland, prior to that he was awarded Bachelors of Science and Kinesiology with Honours in 2009.

In 2007 Adam volunteered for 2 months in Nepal where he treated patients with spinal cord injuries, osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions. While he was there he did a couple of trekking trips, including one to the Mt Everest base camp.

He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal problems and was granted a UQ Research Scholarship to investigate how muscles change with pain, and therapeutic taping on muscle stiffness which he has been working on over the past year.

His interest and background in general fitness and sport specific training are used to enhance care with components of active rehabilitation. Delete delete add

Dr Bryan Henry

Biography:
After graduating from Robert Gordon University in Scotland Bryan, originally from Ireland, worked on home turf before moving to New Zealand and then onto Australia in 2009.

Bryan spent two years working in New Zealand within private practice and with several rugby and professional football teams, including Hawkes Bay United.

He has a keen interest in soccer and treating sports injuries, using dry needling and Pilates techniques alongside musculoskeletal techniques. Delete delete add
