Biography:
Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction (Physiotherapy) in 2000. Since graduating she has worked as a physiotherapist in Australia and the United Kingdom. In 2004 she commenced working in private practice at Sutherland Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. During this time she has treated a vast range of musculoskeletal conditions. These range from sporting injuries to postural dysfunctions in all ages. Rebecca developed a passion for Pilates in 2004. She recognised the significant benefits that Pilates offered her clients in private practice. She completed DMA Clinical Pilates training in 2005 and then became a certified Rehabilitation Pilates Practitioner with Polestar Pilates in 2008. In 2006 Sutherland Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic expanded to offer a fully equipped Pilates Studio. Rebecca is the Principal of the Pilates Studio. In 2013 Rebecca worked as a Pilates Physiotherapist with the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL team.

Ms Jessie Miladinski

Jessie graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2008. Jessie has also completed qualifications to become a certified Pilates Instructor with a passion for treating lumbopelvic and thoracic pain with a focus on postural correction and functional core strengthening. Jessie has recently gone on to complete further training in women’s health physiotherapy including the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, and any pregnancy or post natal conditions. Jessie can provide a thorough assessment including the use of Real Time Ultrasound, to provide the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient. Jessie also has a strong interest in the management of acute sporting injuries with a focus on a swift return to normal activity.

Kenny Michalopoulos

Kenny commenced working at Sutherland Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 2001 and became Practice Principal of the clinic in 2006. During this time, Kenny has developed extensive experience in the field of Sports Physiotherapy having previously worked with St George Illawarra Dragons(2003-2005) and is currently also Physiotherapist for the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL team. Kenny has just completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and has attained the title of Sports Physiotherapist. He is a qualified physiotherapist under the Integrated Systems Model as taught by internationally recognised Diane and LJ Lee. and which is currently used by the Physiotherapists for Manchester City Football Club. Kenny is also a clinical educator with Sydney and Macquarie Universities regularly supervising students during their placements. He has special interests in the treatment of low back and hip/groin pain and adolescent injuries. Kenny also specialises in return to sports programs regularly using Real Time Ultrasound in assessment and diagnosis.
