# n 1979 I qualified from the four year full-time course at the British School of Osteopathy, London, with a Diploma of Osteopathy (DO) and became a member of the General Council and register of Osteopaths. That body was superseded by the new statutory body, and in 2000 I was registered by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
# Since 1979 I have also been a member of the British Osteopathic Association and in 1988 I helped set up the South Wales Osteopathic Society.
# In 1990 I became an External Examiner for the G.C.R.O./GOsC
# In 1992 I was accepted onto the Law Society Register of Expert Witnesses. That year I also served as a member of the Welsh Health Planning Forum set up by the Welsh Office.
# Since 1997 I have been a Clinical Assessor for the NHS Complaints Process.
# In 2001 I was made a co-opted Member of the GOsC Communications Committee.
# I have written articles for the British Osteopathic Journal and the Journal of Osteopathic Education.
# I have a family of two children, am a member of the Swansea Bay Rotary Club, and enjoy cycling, reading and trying to learn the saxophone.
