About Nettlebed Osteopathic Clinic

This osteopathy practice focuses on providing high quality treatments to make their patients hale and healthy. The clinic is located in the village of Nettlebed in Oxfordshire. A detailed diagnosis is reached after a health assessment is conducted on the first visit and treatments are provided for a range of conditions including musculoskeletal pain and injuries, sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome. Cranial osteopathy is used to treat problems affecting babies. Other services provided at the clinic are acupuncture, hot stone massage and reflexology.

Anna Hale

Anna Hale BA(Hons) BSc(Hons)OST Anna graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1996 where she won the Prize for Concepts in Osteopathic Healthcare. After working at the Osteopathic Centre for Children she worked in a GP's surgery in Bristol before opening in Nettlebed in 2000. The Clinic has successfully grown primarily by word of mouth and more recently thanks to GP referrals. Anna says "I find Osteopathy hugely rewarding since changes in health can be achieved so quickly with minimal side effects". In particular she enjoys treating lumbar and pelvic problems. On a personal note Anna has 3 children and enjoys tennis, painting and cycling.

David Turner

David Turner BOst David is also a graduate from the British School of Osteopathy and joined the practice in 2006. He is particularly interested in visceral and functional work and utilizes these gentle techniques as part of his overall approach to osteopathy. He has experience with patients of all ages and has previously worked as part of an osteopathic team within the NHS. David is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association.
