Mr Damian Moore

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist
Biography:

I am a structural osteopath.  That means I use manual therapy techniques to improve your health through working on your joints and muscles and through them I also affect your blood and nervous supply.  This means I can treat a wide range of musculoskeletal mechanical based conditions

I studied at the renowned British School of Osteopathy qualifying in 2014 and I practise from 3 locations in South London, in Oval, Nine Elms and Vauxhall.

I use a range of effective treatments, including soft-tissue, massage type techniques to relieve tight muscles and promote fluid drainage; joint articulation to gradually increase range of motion and osteopathic manipulations, where appropriate, to quickly release joints that are restricted or held in the wrong position, these are the techniques that may cause a joint to go pop or click and can be very effective.  As well as these standard techniques I use Still-techniques which are an alternative to manipulations where patients prefer, or where there are contraindications to treatments involving thrusts, and functional techniques which are very gentle and can be surprisingly profound.
