Osteopath Consultation

Osteopathy is a primary health care system, complementary to other medical practices. It is suitable for almost anyone and can contribute to the treatment and management of a wide range of conditions. Osteopaths primarily work through the neuro-musculo-skeletal system, mostly treating muscles and joints, using holistic and patient-centred approaches.

Massage Therapy

From £65

Sports massage tends to be a deeper more intense massage, combining a variety of techniques including stretching, friction and trigger point release. With sports massage it's especially important to have a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. By understanding these systems and the effects of exercise, we are able to develop a clearer picture of why the individual may be suffering in particular areas, which allows us to tailor our massage treatment.

From £50
Acupuncturist Consultation

Non-traditional acupuncture or medical dry needling reinterprets the traditional apparatus of "meridians" and "points" and is based on the modern understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. In many cases dry needling is used on "trigger points" in muscles, these are tender points within muscles which cause pain when pressed and radiate pain to other areas. Needling the trigger points can relieve pain in these distant areas.

Acupuncture can still work even when there are no trigger points. In such cases it is thought it acts by changing the ways in which the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is transmitting information about pain.

If considered suitable by your practitioner, medical dry needling can be used to treat different forms of pain, particularly pain in the muscles and joints. It has also been found to help in a range of other disorders, including headaches and migraines, painful periods and ulcerative colitis.

Matt graduated with a Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost) from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO), the largest and oldest osteopathic college in the UK.

After graduating he worked in the Wellness centre of the BodyHoliday resort, St Lucia. He treated a wide range of people from varying background. He studied Yoga Nidra with Daizan Skinner and Medical Acupuncture with Doctor A. Campbell in London. He traveled to Nepal to studyMeditation, learnt Yoga in India, was taught Thai Massage by the legendary Ajan Pischet in Thailand and traveled to New York where he trained to teach Yoga with one of the most revered yoga teachers of our time, Sri Dharma Mittra.

Matt’s treatments are built on solid Osteopathic foundations, however, they incorporates many different skills from around the globe. This allows Matt to provide bespoke treatment sessions giving you the best chance of a smooth and swift recovery.

The Yoga classes that Matt teaches are primary Vinyasa flow.
