This is a standard part of osteopathic treatment that is used where the muscles and interconnecting fascia require release, usually evidenced by hypersensitivity to pressure 

Your initial consulatation will involve a full medical history together with analysis of your pain pattern and its onset. Hence you need to allow additional time for the first consultation. Treatment will comprise a variety of techniques depending on your symptoms and our diagnosis of the problem. You should leave feeling better and we aim to make a lasting difference within 3 treatment sessions.

Deep Tissue massage, as the name implies, focuses on the deeper layers of muscle, fascia, and other soft tissue structures. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow and deep strokes on contracted areas.  Deep Tissue work can relieve pain, promote healing, and improve body mechanics. It can be of great benefit for many physical problems, including sports injuries and chronic pain and helps to loosen muscle tissues, release toxins and get blood and oxygen circulating properly.

The Innitial consultaion will last for 1 Hour and will include treatment(unless inappropriate.) This could range from Articulation/Manipulation/Massage/Advice on exercises and prevention. Subsequent treatments last for 30 Mins.There is a fixed price of £55.00.
