About Shoreham and Soutwick Osteopaths

The highest ethical and professional standards are adhered to while providing osteopathy treatments to patients at this clinic in Southwick in West Sussex. Home visits are provided fort homebound patients or patients who are unable to come to the clinic in person. Conditions treated include painful musculoskeletal conditions, stiff necks and joints, trapped nerves, asthma and breathing problems. An free 10 minute consultation is provided to familiarize patients about what osteopathy can do for them. The first assessment and treatment session lasts 45 minutes and in 30 minute follow up osteopathy sessions.

Biography:
Rachel Pointon attends the Southwick practice three days a week and is also involved in teaching and examining osteopathic students both in the UK and abroad. Richard and Rachel Pointon both graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1969.

Biography:
Holly graduated with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy and she is the principal osteopath at SOS Osteopath. As well as treating patients of all ages for joint and spinal pain and stiffness, Holly's specialist interest is treating athletes for sport related injuries and pregnant/newly delivered mothers for musculo-skeletal problems. When studying at the British School of Osteopathy, she spent a great deal of time in expectant mothers clinic, being tutored by an osteopath who is also a midwife so gained vast knowledge and experience of Obstetrics and how Osteopathy can help. She also works closely with Brighton and Hove Athletics Club members and writes a monthly article for a local running association to educate athletes on common complaints from an osteopath's perspective.

Mr Ben Pieniazek

Biography:
Ben obtained a Masters degree in osteopathy with distinction from the British School of Osteopathy having previously graduated in anatomical sciences from Bristol University. He has a particular interest in jaw joint (T.M.J.) dysfunction and how this can influence head ,neck and shoulder problems and symptoms in the body as a whole. Ben is also able to offer western acupuncture which is a natural method of killing pain and relieving musculo skeletal dysfunction.
