Easy to book an appointment and a punctual, professional service

5 50 Osteopath Consultation • Paid: £40

I had been suffering from chronic pain at the top of my spine/neck for several months leading to debilitating headaches and pain in my face.

Clifford Lomas was recommended to me by a friend and I immediately booked an appointment. I paid £40 for 30 minutes and the next morning, I woke up feeling free of pain for the first time this year. I honestly thought I would need many more appointments to get to this stage.

Easy to book an appointment and a punctual, professional service.

I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful, professional osteopath

Back Pain Treatment

My husband fell down the stairs when he was 16 and broke his coccyx. He had suffered from periodical back pain for the subsequent 15 years and as a tiler, this was not helpful. after a particularly bad period of time where he lost a month of work, he was referred to Clifford. Clifford soon diagnosed the problem (scarring from the earlier injury) and wasted no time in dealing with the issue. My husband often comes home from a long, physically demanding day, aching but it is a testament to Clifford that he is not, now in pain. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful, professional osteopath.

Really interested in discovering the causes of my back pain

5 50 Massage

The problem is a long standing back problem, The treatment was massage. Mr Lomas was very thorough in his investigation of all health problems and made good suggestions about pilates courses. He started a short massage course and I shall be going again next week. This was good value for money.

I chose Mr Lomas as he seemed very interested in helping people.
I was seen within five minutes of the appointment time. The first impressions were of a very professional and caring doctor who was really interested in discovering the causes of my back pain and finding remedies to relieve it.

Mr Clifford Lomas - at Clifford Lomas Osteopathy -Glossop

Mr Clifford Lomas

Clifford Lomas, from Great Moor, was awarded the ‘Best in Complementary Medicine’ title at the ‘Migraine Heroes Healthcare Awards’, held in London on Monday 8 th September by national charity, Migraine Action. Migraine Action asked people affected by migraine – estimated at 8 million people in the UK - to nominate their migraine heroes as part of its celebrations for Migraine Awareness Week (7 th -13 th September). Clifford was nominated by Philippa Bonorino, from Romiley, whose migraines stopped when she began treatment last November. Philippa had been affected by migraines since she was a child, and these continued throughout adulthood. Philippa gave up traditional treatment which had offered little relief from her migraines, but was amazed at the results of her treatment by Clifford, and that this was done without the need for drugs. Clifford, who has private practices in Glossop and Stockport, graduated from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (now the British College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 1986. He has since developed a specialist interest in treating headache and migraine after seeing the beneficial effect osteopathic treatment had on many of these patients. Clifford, who was presented with a trophy and educational bursary by Alan Dickinson, Chairman at Migraine Action, says: “Many people who have never experienced a migraine have no idea how debilitating the condition can be. The impact can be immense, and it therefore gives me great pleasure to see the difference that my treatment can offer those affected. I was thrilled to be nominated for the award, but it was a big surprise to actually win. I am keener than ever to continue my research and work in this area.”
