Back Pain Treatment, Foot Care and Alternative Therapies in Reading, Berkshire If you live near Reading and need treatment for back pain, require foot care or would like to enhance your well being with a massage, acupuncture or some hypnotherapy, then the Theale Wellbeing Centre is the place to go.
Theale Wellbeing Centre was set up in Berkshire by osteopath Michael Palfrey in 2010 as an evolution of his thriving Pangbourne Osteopathic clinic. His vision was to provide a broad range of complimentary and alternative therapies which would improve peoples’ wellbeing.
The therapists at the Wellbeing Centre have all been chosen for their expertise, caring friendliness and professionalism. It goes without saying that they are all very well qualified, with some of them having over 20 years of experience in their field.
Michael says "The general perception of osteopathy and other complementary therapies is steadily improving. In the past people have been quite sceptical of the services we offer, but more and more we are being accepted into the mainstream.
"The number of therapies we have in the practice enables us to treat a lot of different conditions. We practice evidence based medicine as far as we can and we aim to do so in a safe and caring environment where people can trust us to provide the best possible care.â€
'"One of the benefits of the complimentary medicine approach is that every person’s problem is considered on an individual basis. There is ample time in a session to take a full case history, discuss any worries or concerns with a therapist before being given a unique, treatment solution designed especially for them.
"At Theale Wellbeing Centre, everyone is very used to treating patients who are in pain or struggling with emotional and psychological issues."
Chiropodist and centre co-director, Lloyd Clark-Morris, says “Some people may be nervous of consulting a therapist. The team have been chosen very carefully to provide friendly trustworthy care. On your first visit you’ll be greeted by one of our reception team who will ask you to provide some contact details. You’ll then be taken by your therapist to a consulting room where he or she will take a detailed case history and will consider your problems on an individual basisâ€
Michael says: “The team at TWC are fully committed to improving your health and well-being as far as they possibly can. So whether you have back pain, foot issues or would like to improve your sporting performance, please feel free to come in for a chat and we’ll point you in the right direction.â€
