"No gain without pain"
5 50Reviewed 01 Jun 2017 Verified user. Review confirmed by phone and email.
Treatment Received: Deep Tissue Massage
I had a deep tissue massage. They say no gain without pain and certainly, I felt pain. However 6 hours later I have absolutely no pain in my back.

Really good. On completion, the receptionist offered a 20%discount off a future treatment for which advance payment was needed. I told her I wanted to see if the treatment worked prior to booking further appointments. This is a once only offer b 4 leaving.???? Surely a discount when one establishes that it has worked and a client wants to return would make better sense.

Dr Jeffrey listened to me & my concerns & explained things very clearly & answered my questions. I was very pleased with the report I was sent after my diti. It was professional & very thorough & I feel the money it cost was well spent. My overall experience was faultless & enjoyable...I was definitely in good hands! A huge thanks to all concerned.

I had a very relaxing massage from a very nice girl named Sylvia. I will go back again. The only down side to my experience was that it was very noisy outside the room with people talking and things banging. Overall a very good experience with friendly staff including the receptionist :)

Dear Maurice, thank you very much for this nice review and we are very happy to know that you enjoyed your massage session with Silvia. I'm not sure if the noise that you mentioned was from some renovations work outside our premises or what. I can ensure that it is a policy in our clinic to always keep the entire premises free from noises and loud talking. Thank you again for coming to our clinic and we would be happy to service you again. Yours in health. Jessica Ryan

Cranial Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a hands on approach to healthcare recognising the important link between the structures of your body & the way it works. Osteopaths focus on how your skeleton, joints, muscles, nerve system and circulation work together to improve your health & well-being.

Cranial osteopathy originated from the work of osteopath William Sutherland in the early 1900's. This gentle but powerful form of osteopathy uses the patient’s cranial rhythm for diagnosing and treating tensions and dysfunctions in the body. Cranial osteopaths believe that the skull is not a rigid structure, its bones move in a rhythmic manner throughout life. Cranial osteopaths focus on the pulsing of the fluid which nourishes and protects the membranes surrounding the brain, spinal cord and sacrum, this pulsing is called the Cranial Rhythm (or Primary Respiratory or Involuntary Mechanism), it is a movement of expansion and contraction of all the tissues of the body. Cranial osteopaths believe that any disturbances in the flow of this fluid will reflect pressures on the cranial bones or injuries or tensions in the body.

A Session

Cranial osteopathy is a non-invasive therapy. Using light touch, practitioners assess the quality of the patients' Cranial restrictions, rhythm and compare it to what they consider to be a normal mobility and rhythm, they can then judge the state of the patient's body and how well it is functioning. During a session the practitioner will delicately manipulate the cranial and spinal bones in order to restore the cranial bone restrictions, the rhythm, boost blood circulation and drain lymph and sinus fluids in the head. While the practitioner holds the appropriate bones and gently manipulates tissues, the patient is asked to concentrate on releasing tension and breathing.

Diagnostic Imaging Consultation
What is Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging?
Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging, or DITI, is a totally non-invasive,painless procedure with no radiation and no contact with the body.
It uses an infrared camera with a highly accurate heat sensor to detect differences in temperature in the body. The body’s temperature is displayed graphically in different colours on ascreen. Normally, the body’s temperature is symmetrical but abnormalities, injuries and pathologies change the temperature of the surrounding tissue and these differences are clearly visible on the scan.
DITI can help:
·        To help in determining the cause of pain.
·        To aid in the early detection of disease and pathology.
·        To evaluate sensory-nerve irritation or significant soft-tissue injury.
·        To define a previously diagnosed injury or condition.
·        To identify an abnormal area for further diagnostic testing.
·        To follow progress of healing and rehabilitation.
