About Karen Crookes Osteopath Dublin 2

Osteopathic treatment for whole family.. It is your step towards good health.

Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment, which works with the structure and function of the body. For osteopaths, it is extremely important for the body to be physically balanced in order to function optimally. Problems with the musculoskeletal framework of the body can affect the circulatory, lymphatic and neuronal pathways to any part of the body and therefore can possibly affect any aspect of health. Osteopaths find health within the individual, they look to resolve dysfunctions within the structure, bringing the body back to a balanced state.

I was really impressed with her professionalism and her skills

5 50 Osteopath Consultation • Paid: €60

I went to Karen Crookes three times for a tight neck and lower back, as I wanted to add a physical hands-on- therapy to the other things I was doing.

I was really impressed with her professionalism and her skills, the osteopathy was very non aggressive - ( I don't know if that's the right term, but I mean there was nothing unexpected or anxiety provoking in her manipulation of my neck! :)

And its a bonus that she is a very affable nice person who I felt quickly at ease with.

The results were fast and strong too and that of course is the priority.

I felt totally re-aligned and the muscles relaxed over my neck and back in a way that was noticeable straight away, getting better and better till fully gone after the third visit.

I also left each time without leaving feeling wrecked tired for the rest of the day, (as had happened before with osteopathy).

All in all, highly recommended !!

Miss Karen Crookes

I initially trained as a nurse at Liverpool John Moores University, where I became really interested in the human body, health and well-being and decided to undertake a new career path and became an osteopath. I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy. This entailed a four-year degree, where I gained experience in structural, cranial, functional and visceral osteopathy. I am fully insured and registered with the Osteopathic Council of Ireland, General Osteopathic Council (GosC) and also a member of the British Osteopathic Association. These are our regulatory bodies and ensure that the best practice and standards are maintained.

I believe everyone is entitled to lead a happy healthy life, however along the way and depending on what we do in our lives, we can pick up injuries, stiffness and pain. I therefore work with people of all ages, from babies to the elderly. My passion is for people to optimise their health and function as best they can. I do this through osteopathic treatment, education and advice on lifestyle, postural issues, ergonomics and work-related problems.
