Dr Andrew Atchison

Is a fully qualified, registered Osteopath and co-partner of Melbourne Osteopathic Clinic. Andrew completed a three year science degree at the University of Melbourne prior to his five year Osteopathic Program at RMIT University- from which he graduated with honours.

Andrew is passionate about the Osteopathic philosophy and has witnessed many positive outcomes by employing a “hands-on” approach to a wide range of dysfunctions. He is particularly interested in the fields of spinal pathology, pregnancy, sports and workplace injury and has much experience at treating a range of conditions within these realms.

He has had a close affiliation with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) both as a player and trainer and also works with the personal trainers and clients of Trew health Management. Through his corporate contacts Andrew has conducted a range of ergonomic and workplace assessments and provides advice about exercise and specific rehabilitation programs.

Dr Damien Guengerich

Originally from Lake Glenmaggie near Heyfield in Gippsland, completed a Melbourne University Science degree before graduating from the RMIT Osteopathic Program.

He continued MOC as a professional entity in 2001. Damien has been consultant Osteopath to more than 9 AFL clubs, and has completed an Advanced Certificate in Sports Rehabilitation to compliment his “hands.”

He enjoyed a successful footy career with the University Blues A Grade Football Club in the VAFA, was a Vice-Captain of the Senior 2004 Premiership Team, and Premiership Coach of the Reserves in 2008 and 2009, as well as playing in 2 Senior Premierships (’00,’07) with his home town Heyfield Kangaroos. Damien continues his strong ties with Heyfield by consulting fortnightly at the Heyfield Hospital Consulting Suites.

Dr Lena Stocks-Ramsay

Graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Masters of Osteopathy with distinction.

Her treatments address injuries and underlying biomechanical weaknesses and aim to uncover the true cause of your symptoms. She has a special interest in the treatment of chronic pain, postural strain and work or ‘office’ related conditions.

She believes that health is about balance and the bigger picture. Her approach includes dietary investigation and modification.

She has worked within the health and fitness industry, as a sports trainer for the Kew and the La Trobe University football clubs and has also completed a clinical internship at the Sportmed International Hospital in Mumbai, India. In India she worked alongside leading orthopaedic surgeons and sports doctors.
