Dr Sarah Dryburgh
Sarah’s treatment style is gentle but direct and suitable for people of all ages. She uses a variety of hands-on therapy techniques including massage, stretching, joint articulation, trigger point release and manipulation when needed. Her approach places an emphasis on education, thereby ensuring long-term solutions to problems. Sarah uses a people-centered approach to healthcare that attempts to address not only the painful area, but the unique set of circumstances that contribute to the problem. Sarah has undertaken five years study at Unitec in New Zealand, and holds a Masters degree in Osteopathic Medicine. She joined the team at Your Osteopath, after ‘hopping the ditch’, saying she fell in love with “Brisbane’s sunny weather, optimistic residents and outdoor lifestyle.” Sarah continues to update her knowledge and skills with regular attendance at seminars and conferences. She has additional training in Paediatric Osteopathy and has recently completed a Pilates instructor course. She plans to attend further courses to add to her knowledge in this area. Sarah is fully registered with the National Osteopathic Board and is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association.
