Joint Replacement Surgery Sussex, UK

I had a total left hip replacement last Wednesday 18 January 2023 by epidural. I had a total right hip replacement by the same method back in March 2021 done by Mr James Lewis. Going by how good the operation, care and recovery to a normal active life was last time with the right hip, when I knew that the left one needed doing there was no one else that I would have do the procedure for me but James Lewis. Once again from the pre operation appointment to the actual operation and aftercare I was kept fully aware of what would happen. The operation went as planned and within hours of recovery from the epidural I was up and walking with a frame/sticks and pain free. I came out two days later and am now (four days after op) walking with one stick although sometimes forgetting to use the stick altogether! I'm sure within a couple of days I will not need sticks at all. I cannot thank Mr Lewis enough for what he has done and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with hip/knee problems.

I had breast enlargement surgery with Oliver Harley. After breastfeeding two children I finally made the decision to make the leap, I wanted to be like I was before the children! Wow, I can't thank or recommend him enough. The whole process from start to finish was quick and relatively painless. I had an overnight stay at the McIndoe hospital in east Grinstead where the staff were lovely and I felt very cared for. I was discharged the following day, back at work after a week and now, 6months on I really couldn't be happier with the finished product. The mans a miracle worker. I would honestly say, stop thinking about it and just do it! The money it cost wasn't a fortune and was well worth it for the way I feel about myself now.

I had a knee arthroscopy carried out at the London Knee Clinic. The Consultant Surgeon, Glyn Evans, was very helpful, experienced and competent. All the medical staff were very professional and I was in really good hands throughout. I would highly recommend the London Knee Clinic based on my experience.
