Mr Bob Marshall is a highly experienced Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon with a distinguished career spanning more than three decades. He qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital, University of London, in 1988 before undertaking specialist training in general and upper gastrointestinal surgery across London and the South East of England. In 1999, he was admitted to the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register, marking the beginning of his consultant career. Since then, Mr Marshall has established a strong reputation while serving patients in Oxford and Banbury. He is one of a small team of specialist surgeons providing a regional service for the treatment of stomach and oesophageal cancers, offering expert care for patients with complex upper gastrointestinal conditions. In addition to his cancer surgery work, Mr Marshall has developed extensive expertise in hernia surgery and performs more than 100 hernia procedures each year. His experience encompasses a wide range of hernia repairs, including inguinal, femoral, umbilical, epigastric, and incisional hernias, using both open and minimally invasive techniques where appropriate. He also treats patients with gallstones, acid reflux disease, swallowing disorders, and conditions affecting the spleen, and performs diagnostic endoscopy as part of his comprehensive gastrointestinal practice. Mr Marshall is known for his patient-centred approach, taking the time to understand each individual's concerns and ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to their specific needs. Since qualifying from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in 1999, she has dedicated her career to advancing patient care through specialist cardiology practice, advanced cardiac imaging, and aviation medicine. From the early stages of her medical career, Dr. d’Arcy developed a strong interest in cardiology and went on to complete her specialist training in Oxford. In 2013, she was added to the Specialist Register, reflecting her advanced expertise and commitment to delivering the highest standards of cardiovascular care. Dr. d’Arcy provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients experiencing a variety of heart-related symptoms and conditions, including palpitations, breathlessness, dizziness, angina, and heart valve disease. Her specialist interest in cardiovascular imaging plays a vital role in supporting accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment planning. She is highly experienced in echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT, enabling her to gain detailed insights into cardiac structure and function and ensure patients receive the most appropriate care.
