Doctor Feilzer studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam. During his internship he took two extra curricular internships orthopedics at the AMC in Amsterdam and in the West End Orthopedic Clinic in Richmond, Virginia in the United States.
After his medical doctor Feilzer worked in the Klinik Gut in St. Moritz in Switzerland. In this clinic were primarily treated patients after skiongevallen and began his interest in the knee.
Then doctor Feilzer worked in the surgical department of the Amsterdam Medical Centre and he started training as a general surgeon. Because of his passion for orthopedics he switched to the training of orthopedic surgeon.
In 1999 Dr. Feilzer registered to orthopedic surgeon. From 1999 to 2000 he worked in the Leyenburg Hospital in The Hague. In 2000 he joined the partnership orthopedics of the Rhineland Hospital in Leiderdorp and Alphen aan den Rijn, with a special focus on knee surgery. Doctor Feilzer is also active as chairman of this partnership been.
In addition to his regular work gives doctor Feilzer regularly lectures and organizes master classes. From January 1, 2012 is Dr. Feilzer as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee surgery at the Clinic for Movement Care in Naarden employed.
