This clinic is now 20 years established. We are experienced therapists treating musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation following  joint injuries and post op surgery. We treat a variety of conditions including; whiplash, headaches, vertigo, Pilates, women health,  acupuncture and dry needling. We provide services to local nursing homes along with home visits. We are also the accredited Aviva practice for the "Back Up" programme in our area. Over the 20 years this practice has evolved from a single lead physiotherapy service to a team of 3 physios along with secretarial services.

We, Adrian and Susanne studied Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Germany. Until late 1995 we managed our own Clinics in Germany, when we then decided to move to Ireland.  The core competency of AST is Day Care Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the highest international level. The clinic was established and positioned as Patient Rehabilitation in its own right and is external to hospitals but medically positioned at an equivalent level.    By working with patients having serious conditions ( Stroke, spinal Cord injuries, cerebral palsy etc..)   , AST strives to return people to a higher health level where they can enjoy a level of freedom not previously thought possible, return to work at an appropriate level, and where they can enjoy a quality of life previously also not thought possible .

This clinic was established by Chartered Physiotherapist Gay Peart-Murphy in 1999. It provides high quality Physiotherapy in Adare Co. Limerick in Ireland. Treatment is provided for back and neck pain, sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions such as rotator cuff repairs & respiratory disorders. Orthotics can be prescribed for painful feet as well as hands on treatment to ease foot pain. Dry needling is used for relieving stubborn pain in the body, as well as deep massage and stretching. Overview; Dr Henry, a Consultant Physician in Sports & Exercise Medicine, has over 20 years experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating acute and recurrent musculoskeletal pain and injury in active people, whether sustained from occupational, recreational or sporting activities. She is an active member of the Irish sports medicine community and a recent board member of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine. She has worked with a wide range of sports including Soccer, GAA, Athletics, Rowing, Rugby, Swimming and Triathlon. She has extensive experience in the administrations of joint and soft tissue injections and in the prescription of therapeutic exercise as part of rehabilitation after injury or surgery.   Background:
