During the past 6 years, Dr Sadiq has successfully straightened my badly buckling teeth. This morning I visited for my final check-up and he was delighted with the overall improvement- as was I! I cannot praise him, (and his equally superb supporting team)enough for his true professionalism with my amazing transformation. Thank you all. Now, as promised, a special mention to the delightful reception/ admin team with their charming and courteous telephone manner; Kiyarah and Nebir are very impressive.

It has taken me a long time to write this review because I really want to do the practice and Dr Sadiq justice. Having Invisalign has literally changed my life and I couldn’t be more thankful. At the consultation, I remember crying because dentists usually make me really nervous. Dr Sadiq is the dentist who oversees all Invisalign treatment and did my consultation along with another man who doesn’t work at the practice anymore. They were so lovely and took their time to explain everything and make me feel less nervous and more confident about starting treatment. I think my consultation was about an hour. I was given all options and allowed to choose freely which type of brace I wanted, and not pushed to do any particular one. There are options for white braces which are metal wire ones but less visible. However, I chose Invisalign which are clear plastic retainers that are changed every week or two weeks and they can straighten your teeth just as good without being noticeable. They can be removed so you can eat whatever you want, but you need to wear them for 22 hours a day. They are very expensive but worth every penny because they improve your smile, give you back confidence and Dr Sadiq took a lot of time to make sure my teeth were perfect. He is always available to see you in emergencies, always friendly and non-judgemental. I had attachments fitted which are tooth-coloured bumps on your teeth that help to straighten them, which get removed at the end. These are visible but still less so than having metal wire braces. Following straightening, I saw a separate dentist who deals with the cosmetic side and does teeth whitening, ICON resin infiltration and composite bonding which are paid for on top of the retainer cost. ICON is where bright white patches are removed from the teeth to give an even colour and composite bonding is where teeth are built up with a fake material to improve the shape of certain teeth. I had composite bonding done on my incisor teeth. My only criticism would be that some of the cosmetic treatment was rushed and my desired effect on my lower teeth wasn’t achieved because there is still some discolouration after ICON. It was rushed at the end of an appointment, whereas my upper teeth came out perfect because a lot of time was spent on them and certain stains were gone over a few times.

No needles, no tooth extractions, no pain. Only mild discomfort when you changesets to a new retainer because they feel tighter for a few days. Also, whitening feels awful, and I hated it but is only temporary and by choice. The cost of the retainers can be split across one or two years – I paid a deposit and then split the rest of the cost into £143 a month over two years which was affordable for me. My teeth took about 3 years to straighten because I didn’t comply with wearing the retainers very well. They were originally planned to take a year and a half I think. I wouldn’t hesitate to get treatment at this practice. They are all so lovely and I feel great with my new teeth.

I just completed my treatment with Doctor Sadiq. I had clear braces fitted in two years ago. My teeth were out of place and had lots of gaps. All the gaps are now closed and teeth are perfectly aligned.

I had always wanted to fix my teeth but didn’t have much knowledge on what to do about it. I went on the internet and found Orchard orthodontic’s Clinic in East Croydon. I called in for information and was invited to the clinic for a chat and see what options were available. I was welcomed and all the staff I met were always very polite, friendly and professional. The clinic was exceptionally clean and I felt very comfortable. I chose the clear braces and started my treatment journey a few days later. Due to the nature of the teeth I had, I couldn’t believe that I could ever gain the smile I always had always desired but Dr. Sadiq assured me that I will definitely get the result at the end of the treatment. I am very pleased with the result and can’t stop admiring my teeth. To the staff at Ochard Orthodontist, Thank you once again

I was quite fussy when choosing an orthodontist to straighten my son''s teeth. After reading of Dr Sadiq's list of accolades and achievements on their website, I knew I would be in safe hands.
Dr Sadiq instantly made my nerveous son feel at ease with his humour and friendly chairside manner.
The team at Orchard are very cooperative and considerate, making the entire experience much less daunting for children who usually fear dental procedures!

Most importantly, my son's teeth now look amazing and this has really boosted his confidence.
We've had such a great experience that my daughter will be going to Dr Sadiq for her braces now too!

The initial chat was good. Dr Sadiq sits you down and tries to find out a bit about you, what you expect from the treatment and why you want it. At this point I hadn't signed up to the treatment and found he was trying to push me to sign up there and then, but I can't blame him for that I guess.

The treatment began well. I was to come back fairly regularly. Sometimes Dr Sadiq would see me and sometimes his Orthodontist, Emma, would see me. Both very likeable people. Overall I am pleased with the treatment and the results. The treatment is expensive, but that is the way it is.

On the negative side: while having this treatment I noticed that there was a lot of plaque building up on the lower front teeth and brushing was unable to prevent this as the brush couldn't get to the areas it normally can because of the braces. I raised concern about this to Emma (the other Orthodontist that worked there) and she left me with the impressions it's normal and that she will clean it off after the treatment (which was still a few months away). When the plaque was removed, I realised that I had lost a lot of gum matter. Basically, bacteria had been festering and had destroyed some of the gum matter, so I was left with gaps between my teeth. Now ever since the braces were removed I have a bleeding gums problem that is hard to get rid of. If this had been brought to my attention by the Dr Sadiq and his staff who inspected my teeth every 2 months throughout the treatment, I may have saved myself this problem. So this aspect of the treatment was very disappointing to me.
