Wellington Village Orthodontics

Bilingual certified orthodontist and has been practicing in Ottawa since 2007. She opened the doors to her own brand new state of the art Orthodontic facility in May 2011. Originally from Montreal, Dr. Picard graduated with Great Distinction from College Jean-de-Brebeuf. She then pursued dental education in Quebec City at Laval University where she finished second in her class. She then completed a multidisciplinary residency in Toronto at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Picard went on to specialize in Orthodontics in the United States at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Originally from New Brunswick and has moved to Ottawa in 2009 to study dental hygiene at La Cité collégiale. Before being a dental hygienist, Holly took dental assisting in Prince Edward Island. She worked in general dentistry for 1 year and in orthodontics for 3 years in New Brunswick.Holly enjoys going to the movies, loves to sing and play guitar and is part of an adult synchronised skating team. She is in charge of seeing the patients along with the doctor for their orthodontic adjustments. We are happy that she decided to stay in Ottawa to join our clinic!

Originally born in Shiraz, Iran She was raised in Ottawa since she was six years old and she is bilingual in English and Farsi. She started in the dental field as a Dental assistant in 2009 then earned her dental Hygiene Diploma in September of 2011 from The Canadian National Institute of Health. The best part of her job is working together with Dr. Picard and the patient to achieve the perfect smile! She relates well with the patients and pays close attention to detail and is very caring. Besides work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, whom she is very close with. She also enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle.
