Specialisations: Orthodontics Biography: After graduation from the University of British Columbia, Canada, Port Coquitlam orthodontist Dr. Terry Bianco practiced General Dentistry for three years. Later, he continued formal studies and completed his specialty degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Centre in 1978.
He has diligently pursued numerous post-graduate continuing education courses, including the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (FACE) with a focus on the harmonious relationship between the jaw joint and the bite (Roth-Williams philosophy).
In addition to being an assistant clinical professor at U.B.C., Dr. Bianco writes newspaper articles and prepares advanced clinical presentations on orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics to colleagues in Canada and the United States. He was the Canadian delegate asked to speak at the Roth-Williams International Society of Orthodontists Inaugural Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.
