Dr. Trusler has been an integral member of the practice since 1988. He attended the University of Queensland where he obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science degree, graduating with First Class Honours in 1983. While studying his final years of Dentistry, Dr. Trusler received a scholarship with the Royal Australian Air Force and upon graduation spent the next three years working as a dental officer at No. 3 RAAF Hospital Richmond, New South Wales and Amberley, Queensland Air Force bases. Dr. Trusler then returned to Brisbane to complete his Orthodontic Masters qualification. An active member of the Australian Dental Association and Australian Society of Orthodontists, he is a former executive office bearer of that organization. His caring attitude and approachability results in Dr. Trusler being very popular with his patients.

With more than 25 years experience in dental practice, Dr. Shields maintains a real enthusiasm for the profession and the practice of clinical orthodontics. While his secondary schooling and basic dental training were completed at the University of Queensland, Dr. Shields travelled to London to undertake his orthodontic masters qualifications. His commitment to his profession is ongoing with regular attendance at local, national and international orthodontic meetings and conferences enabling him to remain at the forefront of modern orthodontic philosophies and techniques. As one of the first orthodontists in Australia to achieve certification of the Australasian Orthodontic Board, Dr. Shields has further displayed his commitment to ongoing professional development.

He maintains active memberships in the Australian Dental Association, Australian Prosthodontics Association, Australian Orthodontic Society, British Orthodontic Society and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Shields is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the International College of Dentists. He is a past chairman of the Australasian Orthodontic Board, a past president of the Queensland branch of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and was voted by his peers to be the federal president of the Australian Society of Orthodontists from 2006 to 2008.

After more than 25 years in Dentistry and over 20 years with our practice, Dr. Creagh brings to her patients a wealth of orthodontic experience. She maintains her interest and enthusiasm for the profession with a commitment to continually updating her skills by regularly attending conferences and courses both in Australia and overseas. As a former president of the Queensland branch of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Dr. Creagh maintains an active membership in the Australian Society of Orthodontists. In addition, she is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists.
