Dr Joan L. Bergstrom

Biography:
She attended the University of Nebraska where she completed college and medical school. She completed 4 years of residency at KUMC in Kansas City, KS. In 1986, she moved to Arlington, Texas and opened her practice in OB-GYN. Dr. Bergstrom is married to Dr. John McDonald and has 3 grown daughters. She has been very involved in the community. She served as a Trustee for the Arlington Independent School District from 1993-1996. She is currently serving as the chair of the North Arlington Downtown Neighborhood Strategic Area Committee. She was elected to the Chief of Staff of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in 2011 and is the first female to serve in this position since the hospital was formed in 1958.

Dr Dawnette K. Peppler

Biography:
She also attended college. She completed 4 years of medical school and 4 years of residency at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. She moved to Arlington, Texas in 2000, when she completed her training to join WHS. Dr. Peppler has 4 daughters and is active in her children’s activities and school associations. Dr. Peppler is a member of the Texas Medical Association, ACOG, and AMA

Dr Angela Watson

Biography:
She attended the University of North Texas and graduated with honors from the Classic Learning Core Honors Program in August of 1999 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Watson graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas SWMS. Dr. Watson is a member of the Texas Medical Association, AMA, and ACOG. Dr. Watson and her husband, Sergio Mendez, have two children.
