For the last 20 years, I have always felt extremely self-conscious about my labia minora. In my teenage years, I always felt that something was not right i.e. my labia minora was too large, it was bulky and it was always hanging down. I felt too awkward, embarrassed and even ashamed to discuss this with anyone, not even my own family and close friends. It looked disgusting and I felt sad about it. I have always been unable to wear swimming costumes, tight clothes, certain underwear etc because it is so visible. When I pee, when I am on my period the labia minora gets in the way especially when putting a tampon in. Even when showering it hangs out and I have to clean it. After wearing underwear and when waking up the labia minora was so large that it would get twisted. After some research (during COVID) I discovered that there is a surgery to reduce the size of the labia minora. After even more thorough research I came across MACS clinic after the restrictions were lifted. I initially chose to have a consultation with Mr Vadodaria due to his glowing reviews. I had a virtual consultation and then a face-to-face consultation. During my face-to-face consultation with Mr Vadodaria and his nurses, I felt very much at ease and comfortable with him and his team (after all it is a very private and sensitive area). I found Mr.Vadodaria to be very knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy and professional. He and his team took their time in doing my assessment, covered all angles and were very patient with me. As well as addressing all of my questions during the consultation they even responded very quickly to my follow-up questions which popped into my mind after the consultation. Mr Vadodaria even discovered that my clitoral hood needed to be trimmed which he clearly explained during my consultation. After I left the consultation, his team very were efficient and organized in sending me a quote. The quote was very reasonable given the complexity of my labia. Most importantly I felt safe in the hands of Mr Vadodaria and his team because this is a surgery in a very sensitive area and I knew that if I had any concerns and needed any assistance, he and his team are very accessible i.e. you do not have to worry at all about waiting for a reply. During the surgery, the nurses were so comforting, caring and supportive. They put my mind at so much ease because I was terrified of the surgery. They were speaking to me, distracting me and holding my hand. My surgery was complex and took 1.5 hours and I am still to this day amazed at what a brilliant job Mr Vadodaria did. He was extremely focused, kept monitoring if I was ok and never once looked at the clock. Straight after the surgery, I was numb and tired and the nurses took such great care of me. The receptionist and nurses changed me, fed me and checked in on me. I knew I was in the best possible hands and felt very much comforted by them which is something you need after a sensitive surgery. I was extremely touched that Mr Vadodaria himself called me the next day to check in on me and his team called me the following day to ensure all was ok. This was a painful surgery for the first two weeks and I managed to get through it by following Mr Vadodaria's instructions and most importantly resting. One week later I had my routine, face-to-face review with Mr Vadodaria and he (as always) thoroughly checked if everything was ok. Whilst this surgery was painful it was most definitely worth it because I am now able to sit properly, sleep well, pee better, shower properly and wear whatever underwear, trousers, shorts etc I wish to without any discomfort and pain. I also feel a lot cleaner during my period and when using the toilet in general. My confidence has certainly increased and others have noticed that I am smiling more. My labia, clitorial hood and the entire area look cleaner, tidier and smoother. I wish I had done this surgery sooner. There is nobody better in the world who could have done this surgery for me and I don't trust anyone else other than Mr.Vadodaria. He is by far the best surgeon/doctor I have ever come across. He is an outstanding example of a surgeon who is so good at his job, professional, caring, empathetic, trusting, honest etc. He has changed my life for the better with this surgery. I can sit down better, shower normally, sleep better, and sit on a bike (which I couldn't do before!). I recommend Mr Vadodaria and his team so highly to anyone who is thinking of having this surgery because there is no better team than them. You will be taken care of from start to finish. I will forever be grateful to him and his team and cannot thank them enough. I will always continue to sing their praises, thank you so much!

The pre-care advice that Dr. Siddiqui provided me with before the operation was thorough and I was able to have a couple of consultations to finalise the size with no pressure before the operation. I am happy with the results of the operation and have had a few follow-up appointments and am recovering well. Dr. Siddiqui has always been available at any time after my operation to answer any questions I may have on the after-care and how I am recovering. He contacted me daily in the first two weeks after my operation to make sure everything was OK and has also continued to check in on me and thoroughly assess how well I am doing. I have been very pleased with the level of service that has been provided before, during, and after the operation.

I had been considering labiaplasty for a long time now but had always been put off by the cost. It was only when I started to research which clinics offered the surgery near me that I came across Oakdin Clinic and noticed how cheaply they could offer it. I am so glad I went ahead with it! In the end, I had both labiaplasty and a hoodectomy. I am currently 4 days post-surgery and despite the swelling/bruising, I have had no complications yet and am overwhelmed with my results already. I was very nervous going into the pre-operation consultation as before then I was very reluctant to undress in front of an audience. However, having done it the first time I was so much more relaxed when I returned for the surgery. Everyone that I had contact with at the clinic was lovely. Khalid was particularly helpful when I first enquired and offered me any information/advice in a timely response whenever I needed it, with always excellent customer service. Khalid and Mr Masood were particularly accommodating as despite being fully booked, I was offered a time slot prior to the usual opening hours to ensure that my surgery could be performed on the date I was originally quoted (due to work restraints). Similarly, another woman (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name!) helped to call a taxi after the surgery to ensure I made it home safely. Anne the nurse was excellent too. A lovely woman and her bedside manner were particularly welcome, she made conversation to help to take my mind off the surgery throughout and even held my hand at one point. I am so grateful that she was there to keep me relaxed. Lastly, I would like to thank Mr Masood for doing such a wonderful and professional job. I knew exactly what to expect at all stages of the surgery so nothing came as a surprise. The anaesthetic started to wear off briefly at one point but this was resolved in a matter of seconds so I could feel no pain. I was then able to return home (after a complimentary biscuit) with no issues. The only small complaints I would make are regarding timekeeping. My initial consultation was half an hour late, which I think may have contributed to my nerves and I felt as though the consultation was then briefly as a result. My surgery also overran slightly, and although I appreciate this is not something to be rushed (and I’m glad it wasn’t!), I was repeatedly interrupted by the next patient knocking on the door. Ideally, I would have liked for someone else to have been available to deal with this patient’s issues while my surgery was being performed. However, that said - I would like to thank everyone at the Oakdin Clinic for the fantastic service I received and I can’t wait to see my final results. I feel so much more confident already and would recommend the surgery to anyone that has been considering it! I would also highly recommend Oakdin and all the staff. I myself will make a return to the clinic for any surgeries I may consider in future.

As someone who has recently undergone blepharoplasty, the decision to undergo this procedure has been life-changing. After beginning to feel self-conscious about the appearance of my eyelids, I finally took the plunge and opted for blepharoplasty surgery. My journey began with a consultation with Prof. Mahajan. He took the time to understand my concerns and expectations, thoroughly explaining the procedure, potential risks, and expected outcomes. On the day of the surgery, I was understandably nervous, but the medical team put me at ease with their professionalism and care. The procedure itself was smooth and relatively quick (just under an hour). The recovery process was exactly as I expected and I followed Prof. Mahajan’s post-operative instructions carefully. While there was some swelling and bruising initially, it subsided significantly within the first week. I was back to my normal routine within a couple of weeks, albeit with some minor precautions. The results of my blepharoplasty exceeded my expectations. Moreover, the improvement was subtle and natural-looking, which was exactly what I had hoped for. I feel more confident in my appearance and the heavy-eyed tired feeling has gone. The decision to undergo this procedure was a personal one, and I am very grateful for the expertise of my surgeon and the support of the medical team who made the whole process as easy as possible.
