Job Title: Doctor Biography: (MS Obs-Gyn, FRCOG, Dip Advanced Obstetric Scanning)
Trained in Fetal Medicine with Professor Kypros Nicolaides at Kings College Hospital,London. She returned back to Delhi to start the Apollo Fetal Medicine Unit as a separate unit in August 2006.The Unit is slowly getting established as a referral unit for a variety of chromosomal screening tests ,diagnosis and management of fetal abnormalities. This is the only unit in North India accredited with the Fetal Medicine Foundation UK for 1st Trimester Downs syndrome screening. Regular teaching and training programmers are organized by her. Her main area of interest is in Downs syndrome screening and in- utero fetal therapy.
Dr Chanchal Singh Ahmad
Job Title: Doctor Biography: MD (ObGyn), MRCOG
Has done her undergraduation from Lady Hardinge Medical College. She did her MD and senior residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Maulana Azad Medical College where she developed an interest in high risk pregnancy and Fetal Medicine. She did a clinical fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine from National University Hospital, Singapore and has joined Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine as an Associate Consultant. She has a keen interest in academics and has contributed several chapters in books and publications in peer reviewed journals.
Dr Nupur Shah
Job Title: Doctor Biography: Dr Nupur Shah, an Award winning rifle shooter at state and national levels championships joins our team at Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine as the new Research Fellow. She has completed her Post graduation and Senior residency from Baroda Medical College, Gujarat and comes keen to learn and research in maternal fetal medicine.
Dr Nidhi Arora
Job Title: Doctor Biography: Nidhi graduated from PGIMS Rohtak and did her Master of Surgery(M.S) in Obstetrics and Gynecology from The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Delhi Nidhi developed a keen interest in the field of maternal and fetal medicine while working as a research assistant at New York’s Columbia University Medical Centre, Obs & Gynae department. She joins Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine as a clinical fellow and her field of interests are prenatal screening and diagnosis, and high-risk pregnancies where she hopes to contribute the maximum.
