Tania’s interests include normal & high risk obstetrics, ultrasound, open and vaginal surgery (especially vaginal hysterectomy, prolapse repair and incontinence surgery). Having trained in both Melbourne and Tasmania, Tania’s move to Hobart is a return to where she began her medical career at the University of Tasmania. During her training Tania held the Maternofetal Medicine Fellow position at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. The same year she received the RANZCOG gold medal for the highest score at the oral examinations in 2008. Tania received her specialist qualification (FRANZCOG) in late 2009 and most recently has worked as a staff specialist in Burnie in North West Tasmania.
