Looking for a local practice and was very pleased to be offered an appointment quickly. The service and treatment were first class. So much time is given to understanding existing medical conditions and a full assessment was given. Very happy to found this practice and have no doubt that I will get a good result. Thank you Gemma.

I had an appointment with the physiotherapist, whose name I can't remember ( perhaps Marrianne??). She was very knowledgeable and offered lots of advice. The pain is improving. I have seen probably most of the practitioners here over the last 5 years and found them all to be excellent.

Sustain Sports and Remedial Therapy is run by Katy Fagge: BSc (Hons) Human Physiology Level 4 Diploma - Sports Massage Therapy Level 4 Member - Sports Massage Association Member - Sports Therapy Association Registered with Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council Certified Rock Doc - Rocktape A keen athlete for many years, I first discovered the benefits of soft tissue therapy after sustaining a knee injury whilst competing in the Triple Jump at the National AAA Championships. This left me unable to compete and in great pain for months. Fortunately, a combination of medical care and soft tissue therapy helped to get me back to full fitness, giving me the desire to help others to be free from pain and discomfort. In addition to my clinic at Highball, I am the soft tissue therapist for the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association. Here, surrounded by coaches and specialists from other sports medicine disciplines, I ensure that my learning continues on a daily basis. I have worked as a soft tissue therapist at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games; the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games; and will be at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Sports Massage £10 - £40
Has a number of benefits including the prevention of injury, restoration of mobility to muscle tissue, improvement in performance, and maintenance of muscular condition; thus extending the duration of your athletic career.  Sports massage is a simple, commonly used form of therapy. The effects include improved circulation of the blood and lymph, dispersal of scar tissue, pain relief, muscle relaxation, and the reduction of anxiety.
STT - Soft Tissue Therapy £10 - £40
Dry Needling £10 - £40
Acupuncture needles are used to target trigger points - often described as ‘knots’ - of a problem muscle which contribute to pain and dysfunction. Needles are inserted directly into the trigger point, which jump-starts the local nerve system, releases the knot, and increases the blood flow to the area. Dry needling is of particular benefit in treating deep muscle tissue that is more difficult to manage with sports massage.
Spinal Manipulation £10 - £40
Is a high-impact manual therapy designed to restore joint function, power, and range of motion. The treatment is often coupled with muscle energy techniques: gentle stretches to relax and lengthen muscles and normalise joint motion. This treatment is very effective for functional disorders of the pelvis, sacroiliac joint, lumbar and thoracic spine.

Evette Price. Sports and Remedial Massage - Massage Clinic in the UK

Evette Price. Sports and Remedial Massage

The Look Out, Warham Road, Wells-next-the-Sea, NR23 1JD
I am a fully qualified and insured Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist. I hold a BTEC level 5 qualification in sport and remedial massage and diplomas from the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) and the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM). Anyone can benefit from sport and remedial massage; it doesn’t matter whether your muscular aches and pains are due to injury, training or day to day activities. Sport and remedial massage deals directly with the body’s soft tissues. It works on the muscles, tendons and fascia. It combines general massage and deep tissue manipulation with stretching techniques to improve muscle health and performance. The treatment is direct and results are usually experienced quite quickly. It is called sports massage because it is a style of massage that is popular with sports people. However it is not just for amateur or professional sports people. You don’t have to do a sport to benefit. Anyone who suffers from muscular aches and pains whether they are a result of training or every day activities can benefit from sport and remedial massage. It is extremely successful in the treatment of soft tissue injuries and can help with muscular problems caused by sitting at a desk, driving a car, manual work, gardening or stress. Sport and remedial massage is also often recommended after physiotherapy or chiropractic treatment in the rehabilitation of injuries.
Sports Massage up to £40
Sports MassageWhatever your sport, whatever your level, sports massage should be part of your training. Sports massage can help to prevent injury, enhance performance and should injury occur, help with its treatment and rehabilitation. Injury Prevention – Sports massage involves thorough exploration of your muscles. Areas of tension and tenderness that you didn’t know you had may be discovered. Such areas can become injury sites. Early identification allows for early treatment and enables you to fine tune your training so that they do not become a bigger problem. Your training is probably aimed at improving your skill, strength, speed or endurance. To achieve improvement you will probably increase the level of your training and subject your body to additional stress. These stresses can cause muscular imbalances, which can cause pain and reduce performance. If these problems are ignored they can becomes chronic or lead to more serious injuries, which may prevent you from training. Enhancement of Performance – Sports massage helps to keep muscles in peak condition. It promotes recovery from training and reduces the side effects of muscle soreness and stiffness. Faster recovery from training leads to increased training potential and allows for improvement in your quality and quantity of training.Treatment and Rehabilitation – Unfortunately from time to time injuries occur. However sports massage can speed up the recovery of muscle, tendon and ligament injuries.Tempting as it may be, trying to train with an injury is not going to help its recovery. However rest on its own may also not be the best thing. Although the muscle fibres will heal with rest, the fibres often misalign themselves while they are healing. The resulting scar tissue that forms can reduce the muscles flexibility and strength. Sports massage can help to break down the scar tissue and ensure that as it h
