I am advanced clinical Massage therapist with a passion for body work and natural healing

I have been interested in Holistic methods of promoting health and wellbeing for many years. My interest arose with I started to learn about Reiki Systems of natural healing. I was naturally drawn to the idea that we have the ability to heal ourselves and took my first degree Reiki that year in 1999 with Rowena Beaumont. I went on to become a Reiki Master in 2002.

Following a natural inclination towards massage I went on to study Holistic Massage, going on to take a Deep Tissue Massage diploma and Onsite Acupressure Chair Massage.

As my interest in this subject grew I wanted to be able to develop my skills as a body worker and learn more about how to become a great Massage Therapist. There is so much to learn about this underestimated form of therapy. I wanted to be able to help people out of specific pain conditions and so I went on to study further, training with the JING institute of advanced clinical massage, to become an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist. Here I learned cutting edge techniques such as Myofascial Release, Soft Tissue Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Advanced Sports Stretching as well as the importance of developing a `listening touch`. It is such a great feeling to be able to help people out of pain and to help to relieve the stress of everyday life.
